We think our teachers are wonderful and we would like to introduce them to you. Together, they bring years of professional experience as teachers and performers to their classes here at Miss Patti's School of Dance. Their enthusiasm for teaching, their devotion to the children and their love of dance creates an environment in which learning and growing can flourish. We are lucky to have them!

Patti Vigon

When she founded Miss Patti's School of Dance in 1994, Patti's dream was to establish a school for all children to experience the wonder and joy of dance in an environment that nurtured their individual creativity and personal growth. That she has succeeded in her goal is a testament to the high level of professionalism and dedication Patti has shown throughout her career as a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher.

Her career encompasses the Broadway productions of "No Strings," "Here's Love," and "Hello Dolly!" and the touring company of "Flower Drum Song." As a young dancer in the company of "Here's Love," Patti was assistant to the famed choreographer, Michael Kidd. She appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show three times and in the movie "The Cardinal" directed by Qtto Preminger. Born in Chicago, Patti attended DePaul University. During her college summer breaks she appeared in thirty productions at the Starlight Theater in Kansas City, among many other performances. In addition to her musical theater background, Patti also danced classical and character ballet with the Ruth Page Ballet Company and the Midwest Ballet Company.

Corrie King

Corrie began dancing at age 3 and hasn't stopped since. She graduated Cum Laudeaa from Montclair State University with a BFA in dance and a concentration in education. Corrie has performed in many shows and competitions. She also interned and worked at Broadway Dance Center where she studied with some amazing choreograrhers and teachers such as Finis Young, Ray Leeper, AC, Shelia Barker and Jermaine Brown. Corrie can also be found as a featured dancer on several instructional videos with choreographers such as Thommie Walsh and Bill Hotaling. Corrie has been teaching children of all ages for over 10 years and also has done much choreography for dance teams and dance competitions. This is Corrie's second year at Miss Patti's School of Dance and she would like to express her extreme gratitude to everyone for welcoming her with such open arms.

She adores each of her students and thanks everyone for all of their well wishes for her family and her daughter Amara.

Pam Cardona

Pam began her dance career in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She was a Cecchetti trained ballerina and a soloist with the Berkshire ballet where she performed as a principal dancer in "The Nutcracker," "Petrouchka," and "Coppelia." Her summers were spent dancing at Jacob's Pillow and the Tanglewood Music Festival studying with Karel Shook, Hector Zaraspe, Francis Patrelle, Igor Youshkevitch, and David Howard. She received a dance scholarship to The Juilliard School where she performed in numerous productions at Alice Tully Hall in NY City. Her professional career took her to Hartford, Connecticut, as a member of the Connecticut Dance Theater. Pam's favorite role was the doll in "Petrouchka" set by Vitale Fokine, famed son of Michael Fokine. She has taught dance in Teaneck, Ridgewood and New York with students ranging from pre-ballet through professional. Miss Pam is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 and Partnering of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
